I’ve seen quite a few reviews floating around online about Poundcake’s Farm. I’ve smoked their strain Dubble Bubble before, which won best looking at Zalympix this year. I even voted for their entry for best looking because of how beautiful the flower was! During the Zalympix event, I knew I had to hit their booth up to check out what other strains they had in stock to see why everyone has been raving about them. I picked up Farmer’s Kush specifically based on its aroma. The flower had sweet tones with a real strong earthiness and slight gas. The jar that I was given had one humongous bud that weighed out to a 3.5! The colors of the bud contrasted perfectly together with its dark oak brown hairs and seaweed greens. When burned, the flower produced a consistent thick oil ring from start to finish. The ash came out a salt and peppery color, and the smoke itself was very smooth. I noticed light hints of a candy like sweetness in the flavor, but ultimately, my taste buds became coated in earthy and gassy terps. I knew the effects had kicked in when I started to feel euphoric pressure build up predominantly in my head and face. I felt giggly, uplifted, and honestly in an overall joyful mood! What I really enjoyed about this strain was the fact it was not heavily sedating. I was able to enjoy my experience without feeling sleepy or weighed down! I definitely understand why all the hype, this was some fresh high quality flower with outstanding effects!
